finding purpose.

this actually happened to be what i was assigned to do for an english class. a prompt. i was so excited because this genuinely is a topic that i could rant about for ages. if you are here reading this struggling to find purpose i want you to watch the movie soul. that movie had such a big impact on me, like nothing before. having a hobby is what most of you people reading this have. im sure of it. but your hobby is not your only spark on this earth. there are so much things that can light up your life just as much as your hobby does. for me its as simple as getting to the crust when eating a slice of pizza, watching the sunlight hit the city as i go past sitting on the train, feeling the breeze brush past my face with all the windows down in the car, listening to my favourite song on full blast and on repeat, trying a new food and claiming it as my new favourite, finally finding something i thought i had once lost and even hearing the lovely voices in a full room of people that i love singing happy birthday to me. you see? these small things that i could see on a daily basis are what give me purpose to keep living. being grateful plays a huge part in this and i hope you can do that too. just look around you for a second. and i know for sure you can see at least one thing that you are grateful for. i wanted to project to you that even being able to breathe while you are reading this is another factor that can give your life purpose. my personal hobby is dancing :) i love to do it, it keeps me alive and happy. dancing is my purpose. but so are these small things in my life that i hope one day you will start to acknowledge too. finding your purpose may not come to you right now, but don't you worry. we have all the time in the world :). loosen up a little you got this. and i want to end this off with a quote i love to think about when i am going through a hard time: "things always get harder right before the level up". - p.j
